Schools out and Moms all around are now wondering what they were thinking! We couldn’t wait for summer to be here. We were over lunches, homework, and school events but then it hit us…summer means they are around 24/7. Uh oh! Can’t wait to hear the kids say that we have no food and they are bored. Hopefully everyone can survive on hot dog buns and some free range parenting this summer! Best of luck to you all!
Four more school days until summer for us. I feel like Jessie Spanno. I'm both "so excited" and also "so SCARED!" Which is why I use a #SummerBucketList printable from #kidsaretheworst and @statelytype. Get yours and make the best summer at kidsaretheworst.com (also link in profile). It's fine. It'll only save your sanity this summer. For just five dollars. It's fine.
And I thought my kids fought a lot when playing video games. Ha. Are you on summer break yet? I'm doing a special through the end of the week on the Internet and Social Media Guides for families. Use the codes WORST7 for $7 off each guide and SUMMERBUCKET for a free download of summer fun checklist. Woot woot. Go to familysocialguide.com or link in profile. More details over on @annaistheworst and in my Stories today. This post via @katewhinehall who is seriously worth a follow. You'll need to laugh a lot more with the kids home all summer. #kidsaretheworst
Not only does Mrs. Berenstain remind me of my childhood summers, but now I totally get her. She was super chill in her house dress and comfy hat until her kids were out of control. She had to do SOMETHING. Isn't it amazing how suddenly you empathize with the parents and teachers in your childhood movies and tv shows? They used to be such turds and now they're really reasonable. I actually feel bad for how those kids treat them. Even Edward R. Rooney. #kidsaretheworst
